About Us

Bringing people together to effect change is one of the most important and misunderstood elements of problem-solving in a democracy. Because change doesn't define or "sell" itself, organizing is crucial for motivating change, creating capacity to pursue it, and building constituencies that will help see it through.

ATWATER C.A.U.S.E. is working toward new responses that are preventative in nature, that are not dependent on the use of the criminal justice system, and that engage other public agencies, the community and the private sector when their involvement has the potential for significantly contributing to the reduction of violence in our community.

Atwater C.A.U.S.E has set its goal to develope new solutions to nurture a sense of community among our citizens, the private sector, public agencies, and encourage people to be concerned about one another.

ATWATER C.A.U.S.E. meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Brooks Ranch in Atwater from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
Lunch is on you, the solutions are up to the participants. Chief Richard Hawthorne, Pastor Paul Lundberg, and Dr. Robert Fore lead the discussion at the meetings, the participants make it happen.

All those who attend are Great people who are making a Difference.
